Keys to the Quran Course
Understanding the Quran With Method
Sincerity & Method to Understand the Quran Well
Today, we hear a lot of discourses about the Quran: most of them lack the method to understand it objectively and correctly.
The great concepts of Islam have been replaced by counter-meanings which are now part of the general culture of every French person. Thus, sharīah means 'the law that orders to cut off hands;' islām means 'submission that excludes any exercise of one's critical reason;' jihād means, at best, 'forcing non-Muslims to convert to Islam,' at worst, 'terrorism...'
Learning to understand the Quran through the Quran
Learning to Understand the Quran by the Quran
We propose a course that will introduce the method of "explaining the Quran through the Quran" (تفسير القرآن بالقرآن). This method of understanding integrates the authentic Sunnah as a "Tafsīr 'amalī of the Quran" (an explanation of the Qur'an through practice, through the example of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him). It also integrates the explanation of the revealed Book (the Quran) by the explanation of the created Book (the world, life, reality, society...), and vice versa.
As God is One, to understand the Quran, the example of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the world is to understand one and the same reality and wisdom.
