Welcome. Understanding Islam is difficult today in the face of the hyper-mediatization of hazardous, individualistic and extremist interpretations. Yet, the desire to understand it in an objective, simple, global, timely and universal way animates more and more women and men, young and old, among Muslims and people who observe other religions and philosophies of life.
The Islam Actuel Institute aims to give everyone the opportunity to explore the universality and timeliness of the Quran and Islam to contribute to a better world. To do so, it plans to develop a methodical understanding of Islam and the world through articles, book summaries, translations, videos, podcasts, public events, summer schools and training courses.

Islam Actuel in a few words
The Islam Actuel Institute aims at discovering the path to universal wisdom to which the Quran invites the human family:
It is He (God) who has sent to people without a Book a messenger from among them who recites His signs to them, purifies them and teaches them the Book and wisdom, while they were previously in manifest error.
Quran 62 : 2
The Quran aims to form a person and human civilization capable of enjoying life's pleasures while cultivating virtue and justice:
Eat and drink of what God offers you; and do not sow corruption on Earth.
Quran 2 : 60
But is there anyone to open their heart and mind to wisdom and to try to live it?
Indeed, We have made the Quran easy for meditation. Is there anyone to ponder?
Quran 54 : 17
